So, I got a cyclo evolution DS. It's a flash cart that allows you to play Roms and homebrew games.
Recommend me some bitchin DS games that aren't Pokemon. I have those already in real cart form.
I also already plan on Order of Ecclesia, which I borrowed but didn't quite beat. I will also be getting Portrait of Ruin and Dawn of Sorrow, which I have never, ever played!
Anyone else know of anything cool for the DS?

Wish me luck.
I just got offered a 45 grand a year job with benefits and room for promotion. Not nearly as enticing as the other one, but after taxes, i'll still be pulling three grand a month. I can also join some kind of program to go for my fucking masters.
Wow. This is -AWESOME-.
Finish school people. It's worth it. The only downside here is i'll be tied up a lot more, but I don't care. I like being able to do my music on my own pace.

Man i've gotten a lot of shit done recently. Most of it's ready to be posted, too.
On a whim I did a cover of the Sister's "Marian". Namely because a friend of mine really loves my clean vox, where are somewhere in the Peter Steele range. haha. Whatever, I think that's awesome.
The rest of it's a result of me listening to wayyyy too much IDM.

Seems like my life's finally taking a turn for the positive after all these years.
I have stopped second guessing myself.
Not felt the need or want to drink for a while. Booze hasn't been an issue for me since I was nineteen, but i'm glad it's not a weekend ritual anymore regardless.
I own 80 acres of land that if I play my cards right I can live off of. Meaning not only do I have security, but music will not be my main financial income.
Freedom to be creative. Freedom to be able to make money at my own pace (farming and gardening) and NOT burn myself out with the nine to five grind.
Life is good.

No more joke ebm for me for a while. I need to put out something to show that i'm actually not shitty. lol.
That being said i'm working on something right now. It sounds....well, kind of cool. It's somewhere between Coil's "Are You Shivering?" and Wumpscut's "Wreath Of Barbs".
All software so far. Omnisphere and Kontakt, with Disco DSP's Discovery (Nord emulation) providing the lead and a pad coming from Rob Papen's Predator, which sounds remarkably like my Virus. Right now I'm exploring a synth that came with Komplete called Massive, due to it being a massive fucking wavetable synth.
This is sounding nice. B Minor, 96 BPM. It's almost like writing the bad shit on purpose has made me better at what I do.
